This three bedroom single storey house overlooks the small hamlet of Mid Kelton with panoramic views to the East and South towards the hills of Screel and Bengairn. The plan forms an L shape with the principle living areas addressing the view and the bedroom wing looks East. The garage completes a U-shape on the site giving a sheltered entrance from the enclosing courtyard. The central conservatory is an indoor/outdoor space which can be opened up in fine weather. To keep energy use to an absolute minimum, the house is very highly insulated, detailed to be air tight, has a heat recovery ventilation system and solar water heaters.
