Recently the practice has implemented a name change to Simon Winstanley Architects. Previously called Crallan and Winstanley Architects, the practice has won several design awards.

Saltire Society Housing Design Award, Design Commendation from the Glasgow Institute of Architects and a Chartered Institute of Building Commendation Award for Deepstone. The project was also shortlisted in the Roses Design Awards.

Saltire Society commendation & Glasgow Institute of Architects Award for The Holm.
