A comprehensive feasibility study was recently completed for a leading care provider who has premises throughout the country. The study examined and addressed the following issues; Proposals for creating a “care village” in the grounds of an existing care home. The village would comprise dementia friendly houses and flats related to a replacement care home. The houses are in the grounds and the flats would be integrated with the care home. Proposals for upgrading existing care homes throughout the region to the latest Care Commission standards in conjunction with proposals for face-lifting exteriors. Investigating development opportunities on new sites throughout the region. The client is currently in the process of evaluating the conclusions of the study. |
